Mega releases her third EP 'Honour and Glory'

Rising star Mega inspires everyone inside her new EP ‘Honour and Glory’

Rising star Mega reminds us of the inspiration we need to travel through life with her motivational messages inside her third EP, ‘Honour and Glory‘.

Her last EP, ‘Colour Your World‘, released in 2022, shows that Mega continues to send a positive atmosphere to her listeners, showing that you can conquer the world and that you are not alone. Speaking of her last EP and the new release, Mega unveils her soulful music, and while attaching the style R&B, it adds rhythm and upliftment to the sound, which is joyful to listen to.

Moreover, it is not only the music style that brings an inspirational feel to her music but also the empowering stories contained inside her new EP. With five tracks, Mega explores the themes of determination and self-love that you should always be reminded of in life when things get tough.

Mega co-wrote all five songs on the ‘Honour and Glory’ EP, which features collaborations with Tom Fuller (Tom Walker), solo artist Joel Baker, Nathan Boddy (PinkPantheress, Priya Ragu), Ed Riches (Bilal), Alex Davies (Galantis), Jez Ashurst (Maisie Peters), Jonny Hockings (Mimi Webb), Jojo Mukeza (Stormzy), Adam Argyle (Becky Hill) and Martin Brammer (James Bay).

Songs such as ‘Moment for You‘ and ‘Learning (To Trust Myself)‘ is Mega passionately singing about reflecting on herself and learning to love herself without anybody else. In ‘Moment For You‘, she softly sings about, ‘Let it out, let it breathe/You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be/Let it up, let it down‘.

Along with the mixture of upbeat and tender motivational songs, Mega also inscludes her recent solo singles that were unveiled before her EP release, featuring ‘Don’t Get Too Close’ and ‘Let You Down’

“‘Honour and Glory’ is a reminder to celebrate where you are at in your life and learn to honour it. Amongst all the madness of it all, stopping and giving yourself a pat on the back and saying, ‘I’m proud of you.’ Life is a JOURNEY. And this EP takes you on a journey of all the emotions. Often we are in such a rush to move on to the next thing or afraid that we are running out of time; and so it can feel like we can’t afford to stop, particularly in this current climate where everything is so fast paced. ‘Honour and Glory’ is a reminder that we are not running out of time.

Whenever I’ve forced myself to stop and take a moment I’ve been able to gain some perspective and to appreciate my uniqueness and that I am. I hope this EP enables you to take a moment to pause and to celebrate yourself. Wherever you are in your walk of life, you deserve to be celebrated. Celebrate exactly who you are in this moment.”
