Celebrating the Christmas season is passionate singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, who describes a heartwarming, loved winter in her new single ‘This Christmas‘.

Like all of Ingrid’s tender and loving music released over the years, she returns with a festive song which will be featured inside the new Hallmark holiday movie, ‘A Heidelberg Holiday’, which will premiere on Movies 24 (available on Sky and Virgin Media) on November 26th. The song arrives ahead of her special Ingrid Michaelson Trio Christmas Show, which comes to London’s Union Chapel on December 1st.

‘This Christmas‘ is a winter song that gets you wrapped up in the cosy season, sending the message of spending Christmas with family and loved ones, which is an important delivery in any Christmas song.

Throughout the holiday single, Ingrid brings her angelic vocals alongside twinking, soft piano keys, sending a relaxing, comforting sound to anyone who listens to the remarkable song.

“I was asked to write a song that runs under the final scene in an upcoming Christmas Hallmark movie. I love all things Christmas so I jumped at the chance. I watched the movie and wrote this song in a few inspired minutes after the movie ended. I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of being present and grateful in the moment, while also celebrating the most wonderful time of the year!”

‘This Christmas’ is set to be part of the upcoming Ingrid Michaelson Trio Christmas Show. Ingrid adds, “London is one of my favourite places to be around Christmas, and Union Chapel is one of my favourite venues to play ever. I cannot wait to return!”. Tickets for the show are available HERE.
