Pop sensation Flo is back with a new album, marking their second studio release after ‘Access All Areas’ in 2024. Their new album ‘Theapy At The Club‘ celebrates the highs and lows of a messy night out, which we can relate to.
The trio, featuring Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas, and Renée Downer, continue to prove they’re one of the many successful and inspiring bands out there, reaching the top shelf next to the iconic girl groups of the music industry, including Pussycat Dolls, Destiny’s Child, and Sugababes. With their new second album release, ‘Therapy At The Club‘, which follows on from their debut ‘Access All Areas‘, the trio progress with their infectious R&B and pop sound, taking us back to an easier time when the 2000s brought the heat and captivating rhythms from artists who made the R&B and pop sound we still listen to today.
Inside their new collection, Flo introduces their new set of sixteen tracks with an inspirational speech in ‘Side Effects‘, describing how this new pop music drug will have side effects where you will feel undeniably attached to these new tracks and will feel all different kinds of emotions, transporting you into a world of vulnerability.
As their album flows with timeless R&B and pop melodies featuring upbeat rhythms and 80s-synth beats, creating an electrical atmosphere, the trio focuses on the journey of going on a glamourous night out with their friends, leading them into a dancefloor and being involved in new connections and finding love from the late hours of the night; where you find a beautiful new love, getting butterflies to sharing a romantic night and then waking up to finding they are just another red flag. A relatable collection of sixteen tracks that captures the real perspective of a new situationship, from being in awe of someone special to being heartbroken after a transformational night out.
Songs like ‘Small Doses‘ and ‘Cry Ugly‘ describe the themes of falling in love and how it can quickly transition into devastating heartbreaks.
