Now FLO are back, showing what they’re all about in their debut album ‘Access All Areas.’
Introducing their album is the Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo, describing the new ultimate girl group and how FLO was a promise and a movement that came into the world, bringing class and sass to music.
With their new album out, the Brit rising stars FLO who include Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas, and Renée Downer, are ready to show what they are made of in their album, exploring themes of love, relationships and finding their way in the music industry as three powerful young women.
Starting their album with the track ‘AAA‘ which stands for Access All Areas, the girls join together singing delicately about wanting and finding love and exploring a new relationship. ‘What’s done in the dark/Got me catchin’ feelings (Yeah)This ain’t about my heart/It’s about the feeling.’
While exploring love in the album, FLO also wants to depict what their personality as a band is about, showcasing their female power and confidence inside their songs ‘Walk Like This‘ and ‘I’m Just A Girl‘, indicating how they aren’t changing for anyone and will convey that sass in their songs, which is something we all could learn from FLO.
Another big example is ‘In My Bag‘ featuring GoRilla showing what baggage they have as a band. The upbeat R&B song shows off their style and self-confidence by singing about a fiery love and delivering spice inside their track ‘I know you heard it, baby, rhythm is a dancer/Can’t nobody do it like I do it, do it better/Alright (Alright), okay (Okay)/All night (All night), all day (All day)/I say (I say) let’s ride, it’s all on me.’
Speaking about ‘In My Bag’ and working with GloRilla, FLO said: “In My Bag is such a special song to us as we’re speaking life and greatness into us! It’s a manifestation… singing it live for our fans has been incredible because everyone in the room feels empowered and seen! We’ve been in our bag… and now everyone is too!”
Inside their album, with their three voices combined, they bring an undeniable chemistry, with exquisite harmonies and vocals which are strong and distinct, while being delicate when singing their lyrics about love and empowerment.
