Rising star Benny G knows how to write any song which captures heartwarming feelings that make us shed a happy tear when listening to his new EP ‘When You Know You Know‘.
While only being 20 years old, the rising singer knows how to craft songs that have moving lyrics which tug at the heartstrings, making you feel a range of emotions from happiness and sadness to feeling joy and magnificence, a talent that not many songwriters have, but Benny has a way of captivating listeners inside his EP, making it relatable and heartwarming to listen to.
Having released his debut single ‘I Got A Feeling‘ in 2025, Benny is an independent singer rising in the music industry, and it’s hard not to recognise a songwriting gift like Benny’s. Now, with his debut EP, ‘When You Know You Know‘, featuring six heartwarming tracks, Benny explores the rise and fall of relationships, conveying the magical feeling of falling head over heels for someone.
Tracks such as ‘Pretty Girls‘ get into the young singer’s vulnerable side, describing how he reacts when he is admiring a pretty girl and gets tongue-tied, basically. Any song that Benny creates, he uses his soulful vocals and has a passion that fills up the song as he beautifully sings lyrics dealing with love and yearning for someone.
“This body of work takes the listener on a chronological journey through the ups and downs of love,” shared Benny. “We cut the music live because we wanted to make the listener feel as if they were in the room during the recording. Young or old, I just hope that if you’re going through a hard time, you can take something away from this.”
The six-song project combines Benny’s lauded singles “An Hour or So” and “I Got a Feeling” (both produced by Benny with Todd Clark) with four additional recordings produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlile, Sam Barber).
With a soothing, country soul style of music and distinct, strong vocals that touch the heart, listening to the EP, you cannot help but smile when hearing Benny sing about falling in love and being in that special kind of relationship that you will cherish forever.
The new release and Grand Ole Opry debut are the latest in a long line of career accomplishments for the 20-year-old wunderkind. It was recently announced he will open for Ty Myers on all dates of THE LEGAL TOUR; he is headlining select Whiskey Jam Tailgate Parties in conjunction with Luke Combs’ stadium tour; just this year he has been on the road with Jack Wharff Band, Sons of Legion, Congress The Band, Penelope Road, and more; he made his debut at C2C in Germany and London; and will make his first appearance at CMA Fest this summer.
