Claire Richards releases second solo album 'Euphoria'

Claire Richards uplifts spirits with recent album ‘Euphoria’

Pop sensation band member from Steps, Claire Richards, is known for her powerhouse of vocals and has continued to shine brightly in the band, as well as her solo musical career. The recent release of her second solo album, ‘Euphoria‘, was designed to uplift spirits and joy across listeners, and it has exactly achieved that.

With her previous 2019 album, ‘My Wildest Dreams‘, gaining a top ten hit in The Official Charts, Claire has grown with the electrical rhythm and dance hits due to her new album, ‘Euphoria’, achieving #1 on the iTunes Albums Chart.

Inside the Euphoria album contains a list of thirteen tracks filled with uptempo songs with captivating beats which make you want to dance freely and sing out loud.

Behind the album, Claire wanted to praise the women of music who have shaped her as a sensational vocalist of today, from the likes of Whitney Houston, Cher and Celine Dion. The album includes popular hits, which Claire covers using her signature sound of synth-pop and dance hits.

With her uptempo beats and her powerful vocals, Claire begins the album with Eurovision star Loreen’s 2012 single ‘Euphoria‘, setting the tone with how the upcoming songs will be joyful, ecstatic and energetic.

The album title promises fans a sense of intense pleasure, and it certainly creates an electrical buzz as soon as you listen to each optimistic sound and lyrics, which add a loving touch to the songs.

While some covers show Claire impress us with her vocal talents in songs from Whitney Houston’s ‘So Emotional‘ or Cher’s hit ‘Song For The Lonely‘, there are other titles which feature Claire dueting with stars such as Australian pop queen Delta Goodrem with ‘No More Tears (Enough Is Enough), a hit originally made famous by Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer and Andy Bell featured on ABBA’s greatest hit song of ‘Summer Night City‘. Together, the artists from both songs collaborate and showcase brilliant vocals, which match well together.

Explaining the purpose behind the album, Claire shares how “Every single song is a banger – listening to this album just makes me feel good,” she says. “I want everyone to whack it on before they go out and get themselves completely in the zone of having a good time”.

Produced by long-time collaborator Steve Anderson (also known for his work with Kylie, Britney Spears and Girls Aloud), Claire picked songs which have inspired her along the way but also choices which can reflect her own style to make it personal and special to her but also to her fans.

It is a remarkable collection of songs where the pop singer invites you in to share a party filled with laughter and love and songs you cannot help but have a good time to, a celebration of women and Claire’s career.
