Pop country duo Dan and Shay are no shock to the country music sound when it comes to creating songs about compelling love and beautiful emotion, so it is no surprise when they show up again with their recent release of their new single ‘We Should Get Married‘. 

From Grammy-nominated ballads like ‘Speechless‘ and ‘From The Ground Up’, the country pair continue to give their listeners emotive hits which tug at the heartstrings. However, this time, they transition to combine singing about romance and having a good time together, even if singing about a couple who have just met, they imagine a wedding gathering of two lovebirds who have just met. Not a traditional wedding plan, but an adventurous one instead, and with a song narrative like this, it is what we can expect from Dan and Shay.

Following on from their previous singles coming off from the forthcoming album, ‘Bigger Houses‘, set to release on the 15th of September, Dan and Shay create a story about romance and a ‘forever love’, with tracks coming off the soon-to-be-unveiled fifth studio album such as ‘Save Me The Trouble‘, ‘Heartbreak On The Map‘ and ‘Always Gonna Be‘.

With their distinct vocals combined and a charm of delicate guitar twangs and melodic piano keys, the song jumps right in, eager for the couple to get married straight away as they discover a bond of true love. It is a single that gets you right off your feet and wants to join in this party of love, magic and romance. 

The song’s official music video, directed by P. Tracy, brings the party to Las Vegas’ famous Little White Wedding Chapel, with “pawn shop rings” and “pink limousines” abound.
