Now Demi nearly approaches her eighth album, ‘HOLY FVCK’ coming out on the 19th of August, where she will dig deep into new musical sounds and life experiences to which we all relate. In her new single, ‘Skin of my teeth’, the singer features her new musical style of pop-rock, resembling the emotions of anger, fear and frustration.

From going from classic pop to trying out new styles of sound in her upcoming songs, Demi describes a mental health experience, revealing her thoughts on how she keeps on surviving through the dark times. It happens to all of us, and no wonder why this seems to be a powerful single underneath her belt. 

It is filled with a passion for lyricism, it is brought to life in the cinematic visual, directed by Nick Harwood. The video sees Demi being haunted by a demon figure who symbolizes several of the hardships heard throughout the song, ultimately ending in Demi finding the inner strength to overpower them. “Skin of My Teeth” was produced by Warren Felder (Oak Felder), and written by Demi Lovato, Alex Niceforo, Keith Sorrells, Laura Veltz, and Aaron Puckett (Lil Aaron).
