Singer-songwriter, Gina Naomi Baez, is creating positivity across the world as she releases her new single, ‘My Time‘.
With a blend of country, pop and folk music and Gina’s tender vocals, ‘My Time’ describes the story of having the strength and power to overcome challenges; when times get tough, you keep pushing further until you end up complete.
The light-giving song transitions from turning the dark times into light times, having the authority to take control, and win back happiness. Baez confides, “The music is inspired by my life experiences and facing bumps on this road we all call life. Being a childhood cancer survivor, I’ve always felt like I’m a fighter and warrior. Literally Nothing can stop me.”
Written and produced alongside Matthew Tryba (Taylor Swift, One Republic, Ariana Grande), ‘My Time‘ was inspired by the likes of the iconic song, ‘Fight Song‘, by Rachel Platten. Using this influence, Gina wrote the song in no time, making it her original sound.
