Nick Wilson - Love can be so lonely, sometimes EP

Nick Wilson releases his new EP ‘Love Can Be So Lonely, Sometimes’

With his breathtaking songs so far and succeeding over 100 million streams to date and 800,000 monthly listeners at Spotify, Nick Wilson releases his new EP, ‘Love Can Be So Lonely, Sometimes‘.

In the upcoming release of his debut album, ‘Now I’m Falling’, out on August 27th, the EP follows the same pattern as the album, giving fans a taste of what will come.

The EP contains four tracks that involve love and experiencing the emotions of being in love. With minimal instrumentation and the mellow sounds of Nick Wilson’s vocals, the EP teaches people that you are not alone in love and how it is a journey to go through.

“This was the last song written for the album,” says Nick.

“It’s my favourite type of song in that it kind of doesn’t go anywhere, it just sits in its own space. We wrote it almost like a poem, with different stanzas that expand the same sentiment; love can be so lonely sometimes. This song is a reassurance that it’s impossible to have something be perfect in every way. Everything has a downside in some way and at some point, even love, and that’s okay. I think there’s this expectation in love that everything has to be amazing and perfect, but really sometimes it isn’t, and that’s what makes it amazing.”

The first track of the EP, ‘Love Can Be Lonely, Sometimes’ was co-written with Joe Keogh of Amber Run, with production from Martin Luke Brown and Mark Elliott.

Nick’s upcoming album wasn’t planned due to him waiting for the album to be perfect, although he realised that making something perfect could be waiting eternally, so he decided to prevent his overthinking, and channel his creativity and confidence into his magnificent songs.

With the release of his new album on the way, Nick will be able to sing the incredible collection of the songs in September, where he will tour with Emily Burns. His first show of 2022 will come when performs as a guest to his Never Fade label mate Gabrielle Aplin. The dates are:
