Belgium-American EDM artist and producer Jason McKenzy brings more delightful, energetic music as he next releases his new song, ‘Fly‘, featuring artist Luma.
Throughout Jason’s songs, he brings an electric, exuberant feel to them, creating a powerful rhythm that is addictive and fun to listen to. His current single, ‘Fly‘, also brings this atmosphere, but it digs deeper into emotions.
‘Fly‘ is about Jason writing about his battle of depression and losing his beloved grandfather at a young age. It teaches that even when you feel like you’re falling, there still is a chance to fly again when you are ready to.
Along with the powerful story, the music is captivating through combining Jason’s signature sound of EDM music and Lumo’s beautiful vocals. From age 6 Jason grew to like experimenting with music, playing DJ sets in his family living room to having his own radio show, Disaster Of Madness, at age 9. Sadly, at age 13, his beloved grandfather passed away due to a terrible disease and it would change his life, since this happened the artist and producer has battled depression for a very long time, but with the help of music, he allows himself to escape, writing his feelings down into an empowering song.
Since being in music industry, Jason has undergone various names, from DJ SunShine and Jason D to now Jason McKenzy. While having the motto “Never give up, the sky is not the limit.”, Jason has led to being a creator of his own record label, VC Records (named after his grandfather), and has had a #1 on iTunes Europe Main Chart.
