As we head into British Summer, Goldford shares his new single, the ‘Dreams Of Summertime‘, what a coincidence!
‘no matter how hard things get, the seasons change and we heal.‘ in his Instagram caption, Goldford explains how the single describes throughout life there are bad days, but there are good days to come which heal the miserable days away.
“Dreams of Summertime is a song about knowing that no matter how hard things get, the seasons will change and we will heal.”
Crafting the passion inside his recent songs, ‘Ride the Storm‘ and ‘Walk with Me‘, Goldford continues to reflect hope. However, in this current single, he adds the struggles people go through in their individual lives. The single captures the real perspective of life that everyone has their turn of a rollercoaster ride, filled with highs and lows, but still, there are better days ahead. This is what Goldford portrays in his evocative song.
‘Dreams of Summertime’ was recorded in Los Angeles with the Grammy-nominated duo Likeminds (John Legend, Ray BLK). The single contains a hint of hip-hop, with an R&B and soul sound.
Ahead of his creative mix of songs, Goldford now awaits the release of his new EP, which is out on Friday 4th June.
Singer-songwriter Goldford did not start his music career until his late twenties, when he transitioned from a management career in Chicago to become a musician, sharing his passion in Nashville and LA. His career led him to be a successful artist who received 30 million streams in his early track ‘Upside Down‘. Still, he continues to be inspired by the likes of Kygo, Aloe Blacc and Lost Frequencies.
