I wrote ‘I Don’t Want It’ about finally choosing me,” says Victor. “It comes after years of staying comfortable in a relationship that had deteriorated. Whether doing that is a selfish act or a selfless one is unclear, but there is a profound sense of freedom in knowing that this unhealthy version of love is something I just don’t want anymore.”
