Rising artist Jake Isaac brings a peaceful atmosphere with his beautiful new single ‘When The World’s On Fire‘ featuring Aaron Childs.
Following on from another uplifting and reminiscent single, ‘A Summer Long Ago‘, this time Jake focuses on the present and living for the special moments in ‘When The World’s On Fire‘. As he collaborates with another singer-songwriter, Aaron Childs, they both bring a poignant and emotional single, crafting a beautiful harmony together which is strong, deep and calming at the same time.
With peaceful, mid-tempo acoustics and calming drumming which makes you want to sway side to side on the easy-going single, Jake explores the heartwarming experience of wanting to be there for someone when things get too tough. He teaches people to reach out to others and provide emotional support, creating inspiration for everyone while bringing love and warmth to the centre of his track.

‘WHEN THE WORLD’S ON FIRE’ was solely written and produced by Jake Isaac and features Aaron Childs. The duo come from opposite sides of the Atlantic, but they share enough commonality to make them a natural fit as collaborators. They both come from family backgrounds steeped in music (Jake’s father is a renowned reverend, so gospel music was always a part of his life; Aaron’s father is the great Billy Childs); they both bring fresh influences and a modernity to their soul roots; and they share a key influence in the shape of Bill Withers.
Jake Isaac’s early career saw him become an in-demand collaborator (songwriter, drummer, musical director) for the likes of Duffy, Gabrielle, and Cynthia Erivo – all of whom he learned from. From these incredible experiences, Jake has gone on to gain wonderful opportunities for himself, such as the patronage of Sir Elton John and a memorable set at Glastonbury’s Other Stage. But he went deeper with his 2024 album, ‘BENJAMIN’, further exploring his gospel roots, his spirituality, his family background, and the things that matter the most to him.
