Pop sensation Natalie Imbruglia delivers more exciting music, delving deep into her emotions on the journeys of relationships, love and life with her new single release, ‘Just Drive‘.
Following on from previous track ‘Algorithm‘, Natalie continues to bring electric and uplifting music to our ears, containing uptempo synth beats, pulsating sounds and electro-pop genres; she knows how to create a captivating song that makes you want to dance and enjoy yourself, while listening to the lyrics on heartfelt and vulnerable themes of love and breakups.
With her dreamy powerhouse vocals that drive more emotion within her music, ‘Just Drive‘ explores driving on and carrying on with life while living inside a breakup, wondering if you will ever move on. While it is a bittersweet story, Natalie emotionally and beautifully sings. The ‘Torn’ singer remains hopeful and carries that wisdom among her audiences, showing them that no matter how painful breakups can be, she tells them ‘just drive’ and keep going on; it will get better. “You know I would have given anything/I wish I could have give you everything/So drive, just drive, let’s drive/So drive, just drive, let’s drive.”
Not only does she still remain hopeful in a relationship which has come to an end, she reflects on memories that felt magical in the relationship, wishing she could turn back time and get it back, but continues to ‘drive’ ahead. Despite the bittersweet story of the song, the music still ignites the electricity, and Natalie still creates a sound which is joyful and upbeat, continuing to uplift you with her beautiful music style.
“I wrote ‘Just Drive’ about a breakup, and about something I think a lot of us do, which is hiding how we feel to make other people feel better. Sometimes you’d rather go through it on your own, as hard as that is. You love the other person so much, you don’t want to put them through it too.”
