Pop sensation Benson Boone returns to music in 2026 with his new gut-wrenching single ‘The Time Of My Life‘.
Since his previous album release of ‘American Heart‘ in 2025, Benson returns with an emotion-driven song, continuing to deliver lyrics that are raw and moving, and also brings his soaring music. Starting with a slow acoustic melody and then building to an explosive musical chorus which elevates more emotion, making you feel goosebumps on your arms, he does it successfully with his new single, ‘The Time Of My Life.’
Written by Boone with his go-to collaborators Jack LaFrantz and producer Jason Evigan (Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter), ‘The Time Of My Life‘ reflects on memories of a past relationship, wishing he could turn back time and be with his loved one. He has the time of his life, but wishes he could share it with someone who was special to his heart.
With his haunted vocals, which increase in pitch when he gets to the emotional and passionate chorus filled with crashing drums and explosive electric guitars, like in all his songs, you can feel every raw, heartfelt feeling he feels. He not only sings these lyrics he created but gets really immersed in the song, where he shows the passion and fire revealed in his empowering vocals.
His new release accompanies a cinematic music video featuring Alix Earle – a theatre production showing the concept of Benson being tormented by memories and being haunted by a loved one. A beautiful piece indeed.
“The Time of My Life” hits platforms everywhere as Boone prepares to launch his 35-date, U.S. arena-conquering Wanted Man Tour in Pittsburgh on July 7. The run will include multiple nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, eventually wrapping up in Casper, WY, on September 3.
