Delivering happiness and irresistible grooves is country and blues singer Jesse Roper with his new EP release ‘Daisy Wake Up‘.
In the upcoming weeks, building up to his EP release, Jesse teased his listeners with sneak peeks of his new music, including upbeat and vibrant tracks, ‘Green Eyed Lady‘ and ‘Lady Luck‘, revealing how his new EP will be surrounded by infatuation and being in love.
Inside his new EP, consisting of six bubbly and laidback tracks you would play on a summer’s day, Jesse crafts guitar-driven and gritty country-blues songs which contain infectious hooks and rhythms you cannot help but dance along to.
Jesse has a talent for putting his heart and soul into all of the songs he has created so far, and brings a unique strategy when crafting lyrics. He uses imaginative storytelling songwriting, which captures emotions, passion and a joyful atmosphere shining through every song, especially in his new EP ‘Daisy Wake Up‘.

With energetic music and a distinct, grounded voice, the country singer sings passionately about finding his special woman inside ‘Green Eyed Lady‘. While his other five tracks elevate in tempo, this particular track slows it down, still with a beautiful, chilled acoustic melody but more laidback, so you can relax and feel the catchy rhythm while listening to Jesse sing about infatuation and being in love. “Green eyed girl in my dreams tonight/Don’t let me leave in the morning light/Don’t let me wake from this dream we’re living/I want to get more of this love you’re giving/I never knew if could be like this/I never understood the meaning of bliss/Green eyed girl you are the only one/I want to, be with you until my evenings are done.”
While his six tracks are simillar in themes of falling in love and being on cloud nine, Jesse gives various perspectives of this centred topic, whether it is having a dream about a ‘Green Eyed Lady‘ or taking his ‘Sweet Little Caroline‘ out for a fun night, he gives it his all inside all of his tracks on his new EP, showing he is not here to mess about but to make sure all his listeners have a magical time while listening to his new music release.
All six songs on the EP were written solely by Jesse, and they were produced by the Juno Award-nominated Gus van Go (Metric, The Beaches, Arkells), who also contributes bass.
