While embarking on his ‘Cost Of Growing Up’ tour, country sensation Max Mcnown is multitasking by unveiling his new single ‘Heart You Didn’t Break‘.
Following on from the recent track ‘Standstill (My My My)‘, the country pop singer continues to deliver exceptional music for fans, bringing the loving, magical atmosphere he always adds to his groove-driven tracks.
With laidback accoustics to begin the song, Max describes going through obstacles in a relationship that feels like it is going south, being in a storm and ‘crying out for help’. Wanting to feel loved and to make sure his heart doesn’t get broken again, he sings with passion and pleading to ask someone not to break his heart and treasure it with all their love.
While it contains upbeat music as the heartaching narrative travels throughout the song, it is clear it is more of a breakup song, but still, Max continues to find hope, like in all his songs, finding a way to get back to his love and finding a secure place for his heart.
Throughout his music collection, Max has a signature sound which aims to contain upbeat rhythms, and as the chorus builds up, the music tempo increases, with the pounding, energetic drums and the fast strumming of acoustics. While building up to the chorus, you can also feel the passion and emotion not only through the music but also through the use of Max’s distinct vocals, hearing the raw emotion shining through, which makes it more sentimental and meaningful to listen to.
As Max continues to tour across the USA, he also has a second tour in the summer, beginning on July 8th across the US. Check out tickets HERE.
