AG festival launch in London this summer by DJ AJ

AG Fest 2026: A New Family-Friendly Festival in London

While Wireless Festival is unfortunately cancelled this year, don’t worry, as influential music DJ AJ has recently announced the launch of AG Fest coming to London on 25th July 2026.

The brand new festival launch is built around the slogan of “Two Stages for All Ages”, where the DJ plans to make the event inclusive for everyone, creating a music event that will involve amazing food and a feel-good atmosphere for everyone attending.

While there will be exciting music acts, the event will also be unveiled as a summer playground featuring a funfair, face painting and many more fun-filled activities where all families can participate, making it exciting and creating a great time for everyone to enjoy.

The festival includes a talented music lineup spanning five decades of musical influence, from Grime pioneers, Dancehall royalty, Garage legends, and global Pop icons across two massive stages. These incredible artists and the family-feel event will be held in Copthall Playing Fields, Barnet.

The Official AG Fest 2026 Lineup includes:

Grime & UK Rap: A heavyweight roster featuring JME, D Double E, Lady Leshurr, Devlin, Frisco, Funky Dee, Not3s and LeoStay Trill

Lovers Rock, Reggae & Soul: Summer vibes from Maxi Priest, Errol Reid, D’yani and Kenny Thomas

Dancehall & Caribbean Carnival: Bringing the heat and energy of the islands Baby Cham, Alison Hinds, Klassik Frescobar, Ragga Ruggie, Triniboi Joocie

The Legends of Pop, R&B & Soul: Featuring global chart-topper Daniel Bedingfield and the legendary “Sister Sledge” powerhouse Kathy Sledge.

Garage & UKG: Anthems provided by Donae’O, DJ Ironik, Kyla Reid, Princess Nyah, Malika and The Viper Experience (MC Viper with special guests).

Speaking about the exciting festival announcement, DJ AJ states, “We’re bringing together established legends and the hottest rising talent to create something London has never seen before. This is more than a line-up; it’s a movement.”

The inspiring music figure is known for his incredible taste and large enthusiasm for all types of music, from going viral on social media with his DJ set, where famous artists such as Will Smith and Skepta appeared alongside, singing their fan-favourite songs in London.

The delightful announcement comes after Wireless Festival recently cancelled their upcoming summer event, which has been running since 2005 in Hyde Park. Unfortunately, Wireless had to cancel due to their headline act, Kanye West, not being allowed to enter the UK, at the government’s instruction, due to anti-Jewish comments he has previously made. While Kanye has attempted to apologise to the community and fans, the festival decided to cancel for 2026.

Speaking on the unfortunate announcement, Wireless stated: “As a result of the Home Office denying YE entry into the United Kingdom, Wireless Festival is cancelled. All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund.”

In AG’s own words, “This is more than a line up; it is a movement.” That ethos runs through everything, from the clean lyrics policy to the strong community focus that has defined his rise.
