Twinnie releases new EP 'Blue Christmas'

Twinnie unveils new EP ‘Blue Christmas’ bringing different perspectives about the festive season

With the Christmas season on its way, country singer-songwriter Twinnie has a few songs up her sleeve to bring the light into everyone’s lives with the release of her new EP ‘Blue Christmas‘.

Her festive release comes after her previous EP of ‘Blue Hour (After Dark)’ with the single ‘Bad Man’. With these under her song belt, and the addition of the ‘Blue Christmas‘ EP, Twinnie has continued to stand up and express the complexities of her feelings. With the new EP, the country singer transitions her honest thoughts into lyrics filled with passion and fire, which brings swagger and rhythm to her music, and this is what we love about Twinnie.

With four original Christmas tracks and a cover of ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas‘, Twinnie sings with heart and soul about a variety of perspectives of Christmas. Whether it is finding love or breaking up during the season of goodwill, she makes it relatable for every listener.

While on the topic of the themes the pop sensation covers inside her EP, the five tracks bring an upbeat and uplifting sound. Despite the title suggesting ‘Blue Christmas‘, it conveys two moods, where you combine reality and fantasy at the same time.

Songs such as ‘Elf Yourself‘ and ‘I Hate Christmas‘ capture a bittersweet narrative of the festive season, where breaking up with a loved one in the magical time of year can be difficult, but still trying to find the joy of the special event.

It is an alternate Christmas EP with different stories that are sentimental, joyful and attached with meaning. An EP with different perspectives about Christmas is unique to have and Twinnie delivers the lyrics perfectly.

“I loved making this EP, and I can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the collection in the lead-up to Christmas this year. I love putting out holiday music and this feels like the perfect way to close out an amazing year. There’s still so much more to come in 2024 which I can’t wait to share”
