This is her first Christmas original, so of course, like any other song that she has released, it is uplifting, upbeat and contains a catchy chorus filled with passion, enthusiasm and fun. 

The new Christmas song, ‘Back Home For Christmas‘, surrounds itself with cheery, festive sleigh bells and Mimi’s captivating vocals that brighten the song. With these two elements combined, it creates a heartwarming atmosphere. However, while this magical Christmas theme is in the song, the pop sensation portrays her perspective of the season, where she wants to spend time with loved ones on a special day and not be lonely – “Only one thing on my wish list, get my love back home for Christmas.”

This recent unveiling follows on from Mimi’s debut album ‘Amelia‘, released earlier in the year, containing twelve tracks about heartbreak ballads becoming a top 10 in the Official Charts when released in March 2023.
