Rising star Sipho returns with new energetic single ‘Lock it in (No Regrets)’

Heading his way to the release of his debut album, Birminingham’s rising star Sipho returns with his new release of a single called ‘Lock it in (No Regrets).’

With the fourth track now released from his upcoming debut album, ‘PRAYERS & PARANOIA‘, out on October 27th, Sipho is still going through a journey in his list of tracks, where he tells a story of the complexities from childhood transitioning to adulthood, going through the different emotions, good or bad, and then at the end of the tunnel finding hope and never letting that go.

Co-written with Paul Epworth and Joseph Rodgers -SIPHO, the new release combines an energetic fuse of music genres from funk and rock to soul and gospel, creating a powerful dynamic style which adds a joyful atmosphere to the singer’s music, continuing to remain a musical display of the UK’s rich history of dance music.

Like all of Sipho’s music, the beat hits right at the heart as the tempo pounds deeply right from the start, giving an upbeat track everyone can dance to and enjoy.

But with having a sound to dance and feel happy about, there also needs to be that connection that drives people to the song, and while Sipho achieves the special qualities on how to produce effective music, he also has a talent to bring an emotive story to life throughout his lyrical narrative, exploring themes of experiences in life to love and maybe his own personal stories too.

Inside the track ‘Lock It In (No Regrets)‘, along with his flawless vocals like an angel, he takes charge, expressing himself on how his not changing for anyone, delivering the message and explaining how he is living with ‘no regrets’ on what he does or how he lives his life. ”Cause I can’t live with no regrets/So come and taste it on my lips/The bittersweetness of revenge/But I’d still do it again.’

Once again it’s a character piece, but this is almost a part of me. It’s me being an overt kind of villain. Sometimes you have to be mean – like, ‘I did this thing for myself, my bad’. It’s brash and psychotic, and in your face, but in a classy way.’

On 27th October, SIPHO. Will release his hotly anticipated debut album, “PRAYERS & PARANOIA” via Dirty Hit. The debut record is a product of an eclectic musical palette and will see the Birmingham native channel influence from his childhood. The album embraces the complexities of retaining hope in the face of growing and becoming an adult. The project acts as a refreshingly honest acknowledgement of self-worth, faith, insecurity, and anger, binding together to inform critical conversations on becoming an adult and living through the most complex form of humankind in history.
