Rising artist Caroline Romano is ready and waiting for the arrival of her upcoming EP, ‘A Brief Epic’, set to be released later this month, but for now, she is anticipating audiences with her latest single called ‘This House’.
The single follows on from the Nashville singer-songwriter’s 2022 debut album, ‘Oddities and Prodigies’, and since then, Caroline has gone on a journey through finding her music sound to entwine with her songs to get that empowering atmosphere travelling through the song. Like this new single, the talented singer has shown throughout ‘This House’, exploring the side of alternative sounds mixed with her acoustic guitar melodies.
With the powerful soaring sound filled with heartwrenching pain inside the song, Caroline reflects inside her lyrical story on a relationship which is becoming distant where the lovers are not looking at each other for who they are, creating a separation between them. Combining this emotional narrative and the gradual increase of the risen guitar and drum beats towering throughout the song bridge adds more passion which Caroline delivers inside ‘This House’.
“‘This House’ is about the self-inflicted bruises that come with trying to make something work that inevitably never will. It’s about so desperately wanting that person to look at you a certain way, but always feeling like they see right through you. It’s painting the walls just to have them draw all over it, and building a house just for them burn. I guess it’s not really about unrequited love, but about just not having quite enough of it.”

With this new track anticipating Caroline’s new EP coming out on the 28th of July, it is shown that this will contain a mature direction for Caroline and her musical journey, and we cannot wait to see what she provides for us in this new upcoming EP.
