By producing a warm atmosphere throughout their new single and with the relaxed rhythm of the guitar, Trout delivers a deep insight into having a strong dependency on someone they have trust in letting someone take control of their happy state of mind.

“‘Garden’ is a song I wrote about developing a dependency on something and over-relying on this day-to-day. I tried to romanticise this feeling in the song and compare it to two people being in a codependent relationship. It’s about relying on something or someone else for your happiness, and being too comfortable with it to want to change things.”
The Liverpool singer-songwriter dives deep into emotions explaining the highs and lows of life within both ‘Gutter’ and ‘Garden’. Trout is the creative alias of 23-year-old Cesca – who spent their childhood years growing up in Copenhagen, born to an Iranian father and British mother. Inside their childhood, growing up and listening to the musical influences of the soundtracks of the Gipsy Kings and a worn-out Suzanne Vega tape emboldened their early love of songwriting, which has continued to develop throughout their music releases.
With this talent of lyrical writing, Trout has gained a special skill of conveying powerful stories about life and the journeys we all go through inside their music, and this will now take them onto bigger and better things, becoming a new shining star in the music industry.
