Influential rock band Paramore return with their new album ‘This Is Why’

Since their last album, released six years ago with ‘After laughter‘, alternative rock band Paramore returns with their sixth studio album, ‘This is Why‘.

The music culture icons have progressed since their breakthrough hit of ‘Misery Business‘ in 2007. Now Tennessee trio Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro still rise through expressing related life experiences, conveying their unfiltered lyrics inside the powerful collection of songs. 

This Is Why‘ celebrates the comeback of the influential band after taking a break since 2019, now their sixth studio album is their best yet, consisting of ten tracks, including their title track, voted as ‘hottest record of the year’, goes through a ride of emotions about living life, from anger and sadness to anxiety and frustration, the band knows how to make their listeners feel noticed and heard.

The tracklist is filled with a mix of energetic, post-punk and new-wave musical songs including:

Speaking on the album to NME, lead vocalist Hayley Williams says: “It summarises the plethora of ridiculous emotions, the rollercoaster of being alive in 2022, having survived even just the last 3 or 4 years.”

Alongside their album release, the epic trio will be touring around the world this spring, kicking off in South America in March, followed by a UK run in April, and a North American run starting in May. Support comes from Bloc Party, Foals, The Linda Lindas and Genesis Owusu. For the band’s largest headline arena shows in more than a decade, they’ll make stops at some of the most iconic venues, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena, two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, two nights at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena and more before wrapping up in St. Paul, MN at Xcel Energy Center on August 2nd.
