Since releasing his critically-acclaimed debut only a couple of months ago, ‘American Heartbreak’, it looks like Zach Bryan isn’t finished yet as he delivers a whole new EP with soothing tracks and a mixture of stories you won’t forget in a hurry. 

In his EP, his tracks are relatable and speak from true narrating; themes such as working-class lifestyle, making memories and trying to find love all point in the directions of his nine tracks. He shows us that life is a long, hardworking battle, but a little of magical moments along the way go far. 

With his distinct vocals, he empowers through his songs, ‘Quittin Time‘ describes a hard-working lifestyle where you are just waiting for someone to set you free. You wait and wait until your wage comes through, and then you can start forming memories. Sound relatable?

Alongside his strong vocals, inside the track, the music creates a stronger story-telling in his songs through the guitar-led, country pop rhythm he creates, which is peaceful yet passionate. 

He shifts from epic to intimate with the songwriting mastery fans have become accustomed to, exploring the many textures of life without flinching at their complexities. 

Most tracks symbolise romance and summertime memories such as ‘Summertime Blues‘. This particular track again has the classic country-style pop, which sets the imagery just right, where you can picture the delightful summer memories he talks about in his song. ‘The sun set so late tonight/I wonder if you saw it too/Wish I still had someone to lose/All I got are these summertime blues.’

Bryan also announces a handful of new concert dates, including his first proper headlining gig in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on October 18.
