Singer MACY is bringing the sunshine with her latest single, ‘Rainbow Eyes‘.
Have you ever had that rush of butterflies inside of you, making you fall crazy in love with someone? MACY expresses these relatable feelings where the love spell runs over and controls our thoughts, minds and bodies, inside ‘Rainbow Eyes‘. With her sweet-sounding vocals, MACY repeats the energetic melody, how the love is taking over her brain, making her go head over heels: “You’re like a bad addiction with good intentions.”
The single is beguiling and compelling to ear, singing over an uptempo beat; the song brings love, laughter and warmth to people. Co-written by LVR and produced by Outs!de, with MACY’s lyrics of addictive love, the funky, groovy music speaks the story further. It’s like the wonderful sounds of MACY’s music hypnotises us into a colourful, vibrant world.
The music production featured in MACY’s ‘Rainbow Eyes‘ reminds us of the 70s/80s catchy rhythmic tune you would hear, the graphics in her music video creation also reveal a 70s appearance too.
Hailing from the South Wales Valleys, MACY has always had a love for music. Since the age of 11, MACY quietly honed and developed her Dream Pop/Contemporary R&B music. In 2019/20, MACY was one of 10 artists selected for the PRS Foundation-backed artist development scheme: Forté Project. 2020 she received support from the BBC’s Launchpad scheme for artists and gained airplay on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Wales A-list and Amazing Radio for her releases ‘Cinema’ which was co-written with Violet Skies (Mabel/Tiesto), ‘Smoking Gun’ and ‘Obvious’. She continued in 2021 brightly with funding from Help Musicians UK and her 4th single ‘Wait’. In total, all four singles have amassed over 320,000 streams on Spotify.
