On Friday the 5th of March, pop-sensation Justin Bieber unveiled his brand-new single ‘Hold On‘ ahead of his upcoming album, ‘Justice‘, releasing on the 19th of March.
Since his last album in February 2020, ‘Changes‘, and recent singles from last year and this year like ‘Holy‘, ‘Monster‘ and ‘Anyone‘, these have switched from Justin singing about love to creating lyrics about the highs and lows of living life.
His recent single, ‘Hold On‘, continues from the pattern of describing the struggles and battles you face throughout life, it conveys the message to always persevere in life, and when things get down, there will always be someone there to help you get back up.
While he encourages people to hold his hand and hold on, his beautiful vocals combine with his classic upbeat pop musical sound. However, in his music, Justin has a way of choosing a pop music style and twisting it in a unique way, which makes it more vibrant and compelling to listen to.
In addition to revealing his inspirited single, Justin brought ‘Hold On‘ to life with his exciting music video. Inside the music video, Justin plays a boyfriend who lives with his girlfriend, played by American actress Christine Ko. Receiving the news that his girlfriend is dying of cancer, Justin does everything he can to pay for her treatment, even if it means risking his life by going on a bank heist mission on his motorcycle.
There is no surprise that the ‘Hold On‘ music video would be moving because from looking at previous music videos, Justin has consistently constructed his music videos that enlighten people. Whether it is conveying important messages or bringing people to tears, it is brilliantly creative how he does it, of course, with the help of a talented team behind him.
Helping with this emotional music video was director Colin Tilley, and producing the video was Jamee Ranta and Katelyn Pippy.
‘Hold On‘ will appear on his upcoming sixth studio album, ‘Justice‘, out on the 19th of March.
