On the 5th of February the country-pop duo, Dan and Shay released their new single making a loving declarative statement saying ‘Gald You Exist‘.
This recent single written by the duo, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, alongside Ryan Lewis, Tayla Parx and Jordan Reynolds, revolves around love and opening up you heart by telling your loved ones how much they mean to you.
Dan + Shay announced how their recent single is about “a message of gratitude and hope. A message to everyone in our lives: our fans, our friends, our families, to remind them all how grateful we are to be on the planet at the same time. It’s truly remarkable when you think about it…”
The sweet-sounding single along with Dan and Shay’s distinct vocals, sways through with an acoustic pop sound, making it feel like a song which you listen to relax or chill out too. ‘Glad You Exist‘ creates a reflection in our mind about how much we appreciate and care for the significant others around us, especially in this time, where we hope that one day we can hug them and listen to the beautiful song together.
The Grammy award winners also opened up on how their single remind them of “a new meaning not being able to see our loved ones in person, but throughout history, music has always had a special way of bringing people together, even when we are furthest apart.
