Pop sensation Miley Cyrus steps into a new era with her new single ‘Bass Persuades‘, inspiring everyone to be free in music and let the music take control.
We have all known Miley to bring the upbeat energy through her different styles of music; from contempoary teen pop in her Hannah Montana years to bringing energetic R&B tracks on heartbreak, falling in love and navigating through life, now as Miley enters a new chapter with her tenth studio album, ‘Bass Persuades‘ set to release on the 18th of September, Miley focuses on the electronic dance music style which contains throbbing beats, upbeat tempos and a hypnotising feeling of wanting to dance as the rhythms take over the speakers at the clubs.
With Miley’s recent release ‘Younger You‘ being released at the time of the 20th anniversary of the Disney series Hannah Montana, Miley decided it was time to take her music to another level, making sure she creates a style of music which lets her be free and be more self-expressive than she already was.
With catchy rhythms and a sound that feels like a Madonna or Blondie hit, Miley enters her chapter with upbeat, positive energy, encouraging people in her new single ‘Bass Persuades‘ to dance and let loose. No matter what they’re going through, music will always centre you and bring you back to happiness, and this is what Miley preaches in her dancefloor anthem.
The new tenth studio album, releasing on the 18th of September, will feature 10 tracks where Miley aims to surround it on “Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong.”

Her announcement of her new music era comes after hearing the heartbreaking news of the passing of her godmother and inspiration, Dolly Parton, who died on August 25th from cancer. While hearing about the devastating loss, Miley believed it was time to listen to her icon in her life, make music and show her beautiful personality. Her Godmother would be so proud of this new journey Miley is about to step into.
As Miley prepares for her tenth studio album, she will also be making a return to the stage on the 16th and 18th of October at The Hollywood Bowl.
