Rising duo and beautiful couple Ferris and Sylvester bring joy and magic to the world with their new album ‘It’s A Joy To Be Alive‘.
From starting in 2016 and beginning something beautiful, the duo and delightful married couple Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester first met in a blues bar in Camden, London, and have progressed to solidifying a beautiful relationship and building a family together, now being parents of two lovely children, while sharing their music, blending genres of folk and blues, passionately singing on stories filled with heartfelt words.
Inside their new album, ‘It’s A Joy To Be Alive‘ features eleven tracks containing poignant melodies of folk and the blues; from the soft acoustics of the guitar to the soothing keys of the piano, the duo create gentle yet uplifting tracks speaking with the heart and soul on the important themes of finding love, building a family and sharing their love for storytelling and music.
While music can explore the ups and downs of life, the folk duo build their music and creation of lyrics on the optimism in life, revealing how the world doesn’t need to be seen in a dark and miserable perspective, but yet a shining, glowing light, sharing the happiness on how living is the most beautiful thing going; how you can build a connection which turns your life around into something extraordinary, a ordinary yet powerful magic.
From delicate songs such as ‘Tiny Little Love‘ and ‘Peach Tree Street‘ that build positivity in the world, showing how if you just look around and reflect on the good things in life, you will feel a happier glow around you. Ferris and Sylvester have that compelling aura around them where you can just listen to their sweet melodies and harmonies and be transported into a joyful mood where there isn’t any stress, and you feel more pride in yourself than before.

Since releasing their new album, the duo, who have earned #1 on the UK’s Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart and Album of the Year at the Americana UK Awards, are reflecting on the journey of their story by announcing an upcoming gig at The Jazz Cafe to mark their new album release on December 15th.
