A pop sensation who has created many sensational hits and won music awards by winning the International Song Contest, Eurovision, in 1969 with her soulful, jazz track “Boom Bang-a-Bang“, and by collaborating with other music icons such as Take That and David Bowie, Lulu continues to deliver music which progresses with the times and still boosts the uplifting energy for her listeners. Lulu releases her new single ‘I’m In Love Again‘.
Becoming the track of the week on BBC Radio 2, Lulu’s new single is inspired by the party landscape in Ibiza, containing electronic pop elements and rhythmic beats which are so infectious that they make you want to dance your worries away and fall in love with music like Lulu.
She debuted in May 1964 with her breakout single ‘Shout‘ peaking at number 7 on the charts, Lulu has continued to deliver empowering music blending genres of jazz, soul and now she is transitioning her music style meeting the times of modern society, progressing her music with even more upbeat rhythums using electronic pop styles and synth pop, increasing the joy and happiness atmosphere inside her new music.
She is still one of the most famous icons in music, showing she still has the voice of a powerhouse vocalist as she makes her way through six decades in her music career.
With her new single release, Lulu gives us a taste of what is to be expected on her upcoming 16th studio album ‘Let The Girl Sing Out’, set to be unveiled on 15th of January 2027, which explores Lulu’s new music style of Lulu, which is likely to make us forget about our worries and join in with Lulu as she lets loose and provides upbeat energy.
Lulu will perform ‘I’m In Love Again’ and many other hits on the main stage of BBC Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling, in her home nation of Scotland, on Saturday 12 September. The performance comes after her charity headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in June, in support of Lulu’s Mental Health Trust*. Last year, Lulu raised over £17,000 for the charity on an emotional sponsored walk which saw her retrace meaningful steps from throughout her life in the spotlight.
