Lila’s new single is like being transported back to the 2000s, with easy dating experiences and finding ‘true love’ without any online dating that we get today, bringing warmth to our hearts as she sings about the nostalgic memories of connecting with an old flame.
With a midtempo acoustic, scratching records and catchy beats, Lila sings with her angelic vocals, with passion and warmth, reflecting on nostalgic memories of a relationship in her past, adding feelings of love, excitement and falling in love for the first time; the fairy-tale stories of when a boy meets a girl. A beautiful yet bittersweet song blended with harmonies filled with enchantment.
“We wrote ‘Wine’ the first time Sachi and I went upstate towards the end of the summer,” says Lila. “We were staying in a little house across a field from a studio made for a big band, but it was just us. He played guitar and I sang along and wrote different words in my notebook that felt aligned with what he was playing. I had this story I wanted to tell about seeing an old love again and feeling this strange combination of longing and dread. that experiencing our love again would make me feel so high but could never let me down easy.”

This marks the second release from an upcoming album collaborated on with her long-time producer DiSerafino, which was recorded during their time working together in New York City over the last year and a half. The music brings emotionally resonant stories of love, life and experiences, creating delightful and magical songs which anyone can empathise with.
At the age of 11, the rising artist has continued to write songs based on true storytelling blended with rich harmonies and sonic textures. A new star in the music industry.
