It is refreshing when an iconic 90s pop band can still become relevant and deliver uplifting and fantastic music even today, when times are ever-changing. Yes, pop sensation band Take That has released yet another single to get ready for summer: ‘Sweet July‘.
Following on from ‘You’re A Superstar‘, the 90s band featuring Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are experimenting with their sound, still sticking to their classic signature sound of contemporary, upbeat pop, but making it more modern and refreshing to blend in with today’s music.
With a funky electric guitar and rhythmic drums which wake you up and make your heart beat along with the music, the trio takes us on a journey of what it feels like to be in love and getting those romantic feelings while you live beautifully in the hot summer in the month of ‘Sweet July’. “So take my love, but don’t lose it/I’m seconds from bruising here/But I don’t care, alright/Take my love and be greedy/Don’t know where you’re leading me/But take me there, oh.”
Take That have already had an awesome year, from preparing for their Circus Live tour this summer in the UK and Ireland, embracing fans with their iconic music which will live on forever and still make an impact even today, as well as the exciting announcement of their upcoming tenth studio album later this year. They have already featured two tracks from ‘You’re A Superstar‘ on their brand new ‘Sweet July‘ single; it will be interesting to see what the band delivers next.
