Debuting in August 2025 with ‘The Sick‘, indie rock and pop artist Bella Kay is becoming one of the best songwriters and young artists in the music industry, and now she has released her debut album ‘My Reckless Abandon‘.
Ahead of her album debut, the Texas singer-songwriter dropped little song projects from ‘a couple minutes out‘ and crafted a viral hit ‘iloveitiloveitiloveit‘ which was certified platinum, earned an American Music Awards nomination for “Song of the Summer,” landed her on the Billboard Hot 100, and has amassed over 493 million streams alongside 3.5 billion views across 1.3 million TikTok creators.
Now she has released her debut album, which contains a journey of messy breakups and the highs and lows of being in young adulthood. Bella captures honest and raw emotions throughout her lyrics, using real experiences and turning them into songs that delve deep into emotional turbulence. Her album is becoming a resonant collection of songs which anyone can relate to, from relationship breakdowns, having crushes and trying to find the right one in this world to exploring growth through life. She teaches us that life is messy, but that is okay because you’re still young and you can learn from your mistakes, heal and move on.

Only 20 years old, Bella has a talent and track record of delivering songs that are true to the heart, where she pours out lyrics that speak from bittersweet experiences we can all relate to. With her new debut album, Bella has also made a recent announcement that she will be going on her first sold-out headline tour, ‘The Reckless Tour’ in North America. This upcoming tour follows her sold-out North American, European and UK headlining tours earlier this year – further cementing her transition from viral breakout to global touring artist. In November, Bella will join indie-folk powerhouse Noah Kahan as support on his UK and Ireland arena tour, marking her largest performances to date and a major milestone in her ascent.
