“After finishing the song and laying down the demo, which had a beautiful piano part, I reached out to Elton on a complete whim to ask if he would play on the track. I didn’t think I’d even get a reply, but amazingly, he said yes and asked when we could get into the studio! Fast forward to mid-January and my first session of 2026, and I’m with Elton John. Getting into the studio to record it was a total pinch-me moment. He’s such a legendary musician; it was a genuine privilege just to share the room with him.”
