Discover the Upbeat Vibes of Matt Terry’s Party In My Room

Containing upbeat rhythms, spice and suce, pop sensation Matt Terry has finally released his new EP ‘Party In My Room‘.

Following up on the buildup of his new EP release, the X Factor finalist and pop sensation teased what the new sound of the brand-new EP will sound like. From sharing his featured tracks such as ‘Skittles‘ and ‘Karma‘, Matt has continued to delve into themes of relationships and falling in love, while maintaining and crafting a funky rhythm you cannot help but dance to.

With his last EP, released in 2025, Matt has progressed in how his vocals and music production have changed; he continues to elevate the emotion in his deep yet angelic voice, describing the passion he feels when falling in love and making it through relationships that have left a mark on his heart.

Unlike his ‘Closure’ being surrounded by heartbreak and breakups, on Matt’s new EP ‘Party In My Room’, he brings an energetic list of six pop tracks, you cannot help but feel happy when listening to it. Furthermore, while the tempo of the music has changed from his last EP, Matt changes the theme, exploring what it is like to fall in love, feeling that euphoric magic and never wanting it to end.

Songs such as ‘Skittles‘ and ‘Superglue‘ contain a funky, electric guitar alongside upbeat, uptempo drums, which elevate the feeling of being on a rollercoaster of love and being infatuated with a special someone. “Cause you never get lonely/Sweet to sour turn me on and off your phone goes/Baby one bite you’re done/I’m just a skittle on the tip of your tongue/Feel it in the way you touch me/Colour in my body/Ooh, you’ve taste the rainbow.”

Since debuting after X Factor in 2016 with ‘When Christmas Comes Around‘, Matt has grown as an artist in the music industry, where every song he writes contains emotion and passion coming from his heart, whether it is about heartache, falling in love or finding yourself. Matt uses intimacy to connect with his listeners.

With that said, it is no wonder that Matt is now preparing to go on a tribute tour performing songs from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, happening next year.
