Freya Ridings Releases New Single ‘Dancing In The Kitchen’

Freya Ridings holds her head up high in her new track ‘Dancing In The Kitchen‘.

Preparing for the release of her third studio album, ‘Mother Of Pearl’, set to be out on May 29th, Freya sends out excitement throughout her fans by unveiling a new single, which will appear on the forthcoming album, ‘Dancing In My Kitchen‘.

Continuing to obtain her signature sound featuring delicate, soothing acoustic melodies and her exquisite, soft vocals, Freya uses her raw emotions within her song, which are elevated within her voice, creating various moving tracks which can resonate with many listeners.

Like her new single release, Freya speaks a touching narrative, describing the experience of how self-doubting continuously throughout your life can make you feel depressed and sad, and sometimes you need that escape, where it’s just you, the music and dancing around a comfortable room. We all need those moments to escape the harsh realities of life, return to our happy place to make us come back down to earth and feel stable.

“‘Dancing In The Kitchen’ is my rawest, most honest song to date,” Freya says of the track. “I’m thrilled that my fans resonated with the secret life I think we all share behind closed doors and eyes. The demo I shared started something and I’m in awe of the response. I truly can’t wait for this song to finally be out in the world”

Known for her captivating live shows and fresh back from a tour with OneRepublic in Australia, Freya has also announced a 2026 UK and EU run. Kicking off at Ulster Hall in Belfast on September 6th, the 27-date tour includes a show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on October 5th. More info HERE.
