Sam Ryder embarks on a new music journey with ‘Oh OK’

Sam Ryder is back with new music and a new sound to excite listeners releasing his new single ‘Oh OK‘.

It follows Sam’s recent announcement of his biggest headline show to date at London’s iconic Wembley Arena on 6th November. Tickets are on sale HERE. Sam recently announced he’ll be making his Glastonbury debut this year and earlier this week culminated his North American tour.

While his list of empowering music tracks has always contained rhythm and catchy music productions that are energetic and bring passion to every lyric he sings, Sam does no different with his new release but instead changes the style of music he performs with.

Oh OK‘ brings a 70s soulful feel to his song, adding a fresh touch to the sound that makes it enticing to listen to, whereas Sam’s other collection of songs like ‘Space Man‘ and ‘Put On A Light On Me‘ gives a modern pop sound, but still with a different music style Sam incorporates into his new single, he brings the same energic atmosphere he always performs in his music which makes his storytelling within his songs more emotive.

Speaking on ‘OH OK’, Sam says “I wrote ‘OH OK’ about jealousy, stoicism and the eternal, draining, rebound cycle at the end of a relationship. It’s about the universal feeling of making an ex jealous or being made to feel jealous by an ex and the ways in which we can claim our own power back while in that temporary space. Understanding the truth behind empty actions and acting rather than reacting seem to be the key to this, and I hope ‘OH OK’ serves as a reminder that if you’re going through it, this too shall pass.”
