Since releasing his recent EP, ‘Quitter‘, Cameron Whitcomb returns with his new single, ‘Medusa‘, which is already popular on social media.
While his EP explores getting clean and experiencing the highs and lows of relationships, Cameron continues to use the theme of relationships inside his new song, ‘Medusa‘. He uses his trademark upbeat acoustic music, which is joyful and creates a happy atmosphere, while the lyrics are raw and emotional.
With more than 25K pre-saves, Cameron’s new single has proved to be another fan favourite, and it is no surprise with the uptempo music and his vocals which are strong with emotion when he sings every lyric with his heart and soul.
Whitcomb has spent much of the past month travelling North America on The Quitter Tour, a wide-ranging run of headline dates that has already included shows at such famed venues as Nashville, TN’s The Mil at Cannery Hall, Athens, GA’s 40 Watt Club, and New York City’s Mercury Lounge. The tour resumes later this month at Minneapolis, MN’s Turf Club (November 20), with further highlights including Washington, DC’s The Atlantis (November 30) and sold-out shows at Buffalo, NY – The 9th Ward (December 2), London, ON’s Rum Runners (December 5), Montreal, QC’s Bar Le Ritz PDB (December 6), and Ottawa, ON’s The 27 Club (December 7). In addition, a series of dates supporting award-nominated country star Morgan Wade will make stops in several Midwestern cities through November. Additional dates will be announced soon. With a catchy music rhythm, ‘Medusa‘ describes a woman who has a talent like the Medusa, where Cameron tries to escape a woman who he still loves, but she has powers over him, which makes him ‘crumble and crack’ like he has a weakness by being near her. It is a unique song and the title makes you want to find out more about what the song is about.
Why not listen to ‘Medusa‘ now?
