On this song, Henry describes this song as “‘bad emotions’ is a song about my journey with my mental health. I remember the day I went to the studio and I was planning to write a different song about my friend, but on the train journey up there I had a panic attack. Songwriting has always been a form of therapy for me and I knew that if I went into the studio that day talking about my mental health, I would feel better when I left. I hope this song helps anyone going through a hard time!“
