Along with the energetic music and Leigh-Anne’s and Ayra’s exquisite vocals, they sing beautifully about the power of women and love, creating inspiration for listeners; ‘This woman knows how to make the world go round and just like gravity, we breakin’ ground/I’ll be your home, I can be your kingdom‘.
Leigh’s appreciation for afrobeat/afropop is seen throughout ‘My Love’ as she recruits Magicsticks (Asake) for production and tag-teams with Nigerian artist Ayra Starr. Collaborators on Leigh-Anne’s sophomore single also include PRGSHN, Khris Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals, Alex Goldblatt, Kameron Glasper and DYO.
