Elliot Horne releases new debut single 'Where Would I Be'

Rising star Elliot Horne shares his debut single ‘Where Would I Be’ reflecting on memories of the past

When going through adulthood, sometimes you have those small moments of reflection, thinking back to when times were simpler and thinking about when you could have any dream; this is what rising star Elliot Horne reveals in his new debut single called ‘Where Would I Be‘.

The 22-year-old singer introduces us to his sensational music, giving us upbeat sounds, emotional lyrics and distinct vocals. Unveiling his debut single, ‘Where Would I Be’, he passionately sings about reminiscing of memories ‘back then’, showing how time can change in an instant and that it is okay to think back and recollect your thoughts every once in a while. ‘Still remember those days, oh I won’t forget it, no I won’t forget it/ Oh but now I’m driving all alone/ I’m still the kid that you known‘.

Alongside his dreamy vocals, the Oxfordshire singer reveals his rhythmic style of music by adding intimate R&B beats combined with pop, creating an emotional, laid-back track. The type of sound infused in the song conveys how Elliot can pour his heart and soul into his music with lyrics and add a groove to it at the same time.

Elliot’s debut was born during a time of difficulty. Being stuck inside throughout Covid was bad for everyone, but Elliot showed off incredible resilience and utilised a creative intuition to keep pursuing his dream.

Recording dreamy vocal melodies in his bedroom, which were expertly done to a high-fi standard, as well as long late-night zoom calls with producers in LA, account for just a glimpse into the determination and passion the singer/songwriter has shown.

Taking inspiration from musical monoliths such as The Weeknd, Bazzi, and Tate Mcrae, Elliot’s ingenious and personalised approach to his songwriting and musical execution certainly sets him apart from the likes of his contemporaries.

Amassing over 200K followers over all his social media platforms, Elliot has already created a huge platform that has sparked from the help of his modelling career. Paco Rabanne, Jack Wills and ASOS are just but a few of the names Elliot has modelled for.
