Everyone needs that supporter who is willing to stand up and do what is right in the world; this is what pop sensation P!NK is giving us in her new single ‘Irrelevant‘.
After releasing her previous single, ‘All I Know So Far’, in 2021, the international superstar is ready to claim another empowering single to her music collection.
When all around the world, when there are protests against abortion going on or political issues relating to age or race, we need that someone in our lives to stand up and speak with force on their opinion and what is right, and this is what P!NK puts into her song.
With the classic P!NK music style of pop-rock music, which creates uplifting energy, the singer describes themes of mental health, life and breakdowns, explaining how it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows in life. Instead, it is filled with a majority of ups and downs which no one can control.
Speaking realistically about her feelings and the world in general, P!NK uses her singing talent to tell the world about her perspective of things. ‘The kids are not alright/None of us are right/I’m tired but i won’t sleep tonight/’cause i still feel alive.’
It’s no surprise that P!Nk releases a song that speaks on these insightful themes because she has always continued to show power, influence and courage in her songs, such as ‘Just Like Fire‘. It’s one of the many things we admire about her.
“As a woman with an opinion and the fearlessness to voice that opinion, it gets very tiring when the only retort is to tell me how irrelevant I am. I am relevant because I exist, and because I am a human being. No one is irrelevant. And no one can take away my voice.”

The protest anthem was co-written by P!NK and Ian Fitchuk which supports the ‘When We All Vote‘ campaign created by Michelle Obama, which aims to ‘change the culture around voting and to increase participation in each and every election by helping to close the race and age gap.’
Why not listen to P!NK’s new single ‘Irrelevant‘ which is very relevant!
