On the 12th of August, multi-platinum breakthrough artist Nathan Evans released his brand new music video to his latest single, ‘Told You So‘.
The music video for ‘Told You So‘ is unique and beautiful; it tells a story filled with friendship, laughter and love. It captures the special moments in life.
With the introduction of Nathan’s passionate vocals taking over the video, the beginning reveals him standing on the side of a road in Glen Coe, starting to travel through various locations in Scotland that are breathtaking to see.
As ‘Told You So‘ is about not giving up on life and being united together, the video describes this message through Nathan and a group of friends venturing on a journey together, hiking in beautiful areas packed with sunshine, oceans and lots of greenery. Having a delightful adventure, Nathan and the group filmed in areas such as Loch Lomond, Arrochar, and his hometown called Airdrie, speaking on the experience, Nathan opens up to say, “Thank you, guys, so much on all the support so far with Told You So It has been so overwhelming but also absolutely amazing. Some of the locations in the new music video are beautiful. We spent nearly a full day down by Loch Lomond and a place called Arrochar, and the footage just looks amazing. Loch Lomond is always beautiful. We also went back to my roots and spent a good day filming in Airdrie to get a good sense of home in there too, it looks outstanding.”
Since the release of the music video, it has led to being in the Top 10 of the Music Moves Europe Talent Charts; this achievement follows on from the success of ‘Wellerman‘, which was one of the biggest hits of 2021, and also creating popularity in the cultural movement of sea shanties.
Becoming a pop sensation, Nathan Evans prepares for his first festival appearance, performing alongside Liam Gallagher and Scots Primal Scream on the 11th of September in Glasgow. As well as this, he will also kick off his music tour across UK and Ireland on the 1st of December; tickets are available here to get now.
On his upcoming lives shows, Nathan says: “Can’t believe I can actually say that I’m going on tour! Not just a UK tour but also a European tour, that’s mind blowing to me, still can’t believe it!
