Recently, rising artist Monjola has collaborated with Aby Coulibaly on their new single ‘Where U At‘.
Listening to the single, already it is a type of tune that has a relaxed, chilled rhythm to it, a song where it is upbeat enough to get you grooving too as soon as the song plays. Produced by Mayo, the single is about the story of two friends who have drifted apart from each other, but they haven’t lost that valuable connection they have going on.
‘Where U At‘ explores the theme of a friendship where you have that strong bond element that stays and never leaves, no matter how much time passes.
Since Dublin artist Monjola has entered the music industry, he has continued to deliver an R&B style to his music that creates a positive effect in his songs. After his debut single in 2020 called ‘Feels Right‘, it has been noticed that Monjola has got a rich and strong vocal, and with the soulful vocals of Aby Coulibaly, it gives more empowerment to the song.
Monjola launched ‘Where U At’ by featuring in the influential live music series School Night, where he was joined by Aby for the first live performance of the track. The platform has previously introduced world-famous artists including Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Miguel.
