It has been two weeks since Dancing on Ice 2021 finished, where the amazing pair, Sonny jay and Angela, won. Now we want to reflect on who were our favourites from the 2021 series.
Faye and Hamish ‘Lover’
Our first choice was Faye and Hamish’s dance to ‘Lover‘ as it was beautiful. It tugged at our heartstrings because it gave radiated love and tension; it was romantic throughout the dance, bringing us to tears because it was so captivating to watch.
Sonny Jay and Angela ‘River’
Yes, Sonny Jay and Angela did win the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice, which we are so happy for them, but the question is, what dance did we love the most from them?
For us, it has to be their duet to ‘River’ because it brought a mysterious and dark atmosphere which was compelling and intensifying to watch. It was an extraordinary performance.
Lady Leshurr and Brendyn ‘Salute’
Lady Leshurr and Brendyn gave a dance that was spectacular and joyful to watch. With Lady Leshurr’s sensational rap to her stylish dance moves that gave us Lady Leshurr vibes, it was a remarkable performance.
Joe Warren Plant and Vanessa ‘The Room Where It Happens’
Although Joe and Vanessa sadly couldn’t make it to the end of the series due to contracting Covid-19, they created some great performances that we loved watching.
One of our favourites was their dance to the Hamilton musical ‘The Room Where It Happens‘. In their creative piece, it was outstanding to see a dance that fills with upbeat energy.
Colin Jackson and Klabera ‘With Or Without You’
Colin and Klabara successfully made it to third place in Dancing on Ice 2021, which was great to see.
During the series, the romantic dance which gave electrified chemistry was ‘With Or Without You‘. It had an emotive storyline, elegant dance moves and was just a dreamy, beguiling performance to see, giving off Bridgerton vibes.
Many dances were just as beautiful as these, and we would like to say a massive well done to all the contestants involved in the series; you were all brilliant.
