On the 22nd of January Country singer Willie Jones released his debut album ‘Right Now‘.
Combining the musical styles of hip hop and country is a fresh, exciting style of the sound of country which hasn’t been listened to before. Now Willie Jones has captivated us with his country, hip-hop album which we can’t stop grooving too!
Altogether it is an album which consists of the country singer’s life perspectives from the past to the future. He examines what life was and will be like. The album is full of passion and meaning, and this is what country music is all about, so Willie still hasn’t lost the theme of the country music style there.

It’s going to make people think and also understand how I see our country, our collective past, and futures. In ‘Right Now‘ describing life in his eyes, in the track ‘American Dream‘, released on the 18th of January, known as Martin Luther King Day, Willie addresses racial equality, and what the life and the American dream is like for a black man. Co-written by Willie Jones, Josh Logan and Jason Afable (Florida Georgia Line), who also produced the track, with additional production by Alex “Lex” Goodwin (Nelly, Jason Derulo).

Willie Jones creates empowerment and rhythm within his lyrics, vocals and the impressive combination of the musical styles.
