On the 8th of January the pop sensation, JC Stewart, released his new single called ‘Break My Heart’.
The last time JC Stewart released his music was in 2020 where he sang about being addicted to love and relationships, this was featured in his EP ‘When The Light Hits The Room‘ and his recent singles such as ‘I Need You To Hate Me‘ and ‘Too Many Nights‘ featuring 220 Kid. Now ‘Break My Heart‘ follows on from the theme of love and relationships and how addictive love can be.
The song starts with a soft guitar chord where JC passionately sings about how loving someone can steal his courage. After, the song continues with the tempo of the music increasing, with a catchy drum rhythm, which makes you want to let go and dance your way through the music. Along with the compelling rhythm of the song, JC boldly sings if his partner is going to break his heart they need to do it right because he is too caught up in their love to escape. ‘If you’re gonna break my heart, then do it right / Don’t you leave me hanging on like the last time / Break my heart, then do it right‘.
Not only JC Stewart worked creatively on the song, but also he had the chance to co-write the single with another talented singer, Niall Horan.
