People I've met release new single 'For Hire'

People I’ve Met’s new single ‘For Hire’ takes us on a emotional journey

The rising alt-rock band, People I’ve Met, knows how to bring a raw and emotional perspective to their music and sound, and they do this exceedingly well in their new single, “For Hire“.

While their previous single ‘Promise‘ delves into the theme of a painful breakup and has an electronic, dreamy feel to the song, their new single ‘For Hire‘ brings a more mellow sound to their alt-rock genre, giving it a rhythm which makes you want to sway side to side while listening to the song.

On the two same themes, which are explained in both songs, ‘For Hire‘ brings a new perspective on a painful breakup, which makes a stand stating how they don’t want to be used, ‘For Hire‘ and want to be loved properly, not at a certain time.

The band, featuring vocalist/guitarist Moses Martin, drummer Orlando Wiltshire, and bassist Andrew Suster, first made the ‘For Hire‘ debut in December 2025, alongside their single ‘Promise‘, and has achieved praise in NME.

Wiltshire and Suster have known each other since middle school, where they performed together in their school’s jazz band. The two began making music in Wiltshire’s garage during high school and soon brought Martin into the fold. Like ‘Promise’, ‘For Hire’ was produced by People I’ve Met alongside Noah Conrad (Chappell Roan, Role Model).

The New York City-based trio, formerly known as DANCER, will play its first show of 2026 at Main Drag Music in Brooklyn, NY, on February 12. Jaden Andreone will open. Tickets are available HERE.  People I’ve Met, which supported Royel Otis on select 2025 dates, quickly established itself as a breakout presence in New York City’s alt-rock scene with a series of shows at Baby’s All Right last year.
